These Terms of Service govern the access to and use of the website www.boardovia.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) and the purchase of goods offered by Boardovia. By placing an order via this Site, you (the “Customer”) agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Scope of Service

Boardovia operates as an independent provider of kitchenware products. We maintain direct oversight of our supply and inventory management. This Site is intended for use by residents within the European region.

2. Orders and Processing

Upon receipt of an order, Boardovia initiates processing. Our standard processing time is 1 to 2 business days. During this period, we prepare items for dispatch. Once an order is processed and handed to our logistics partners (DHL, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent courier services), a notification containing tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. You will receive automated updates via email throughout the transit process.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to deliver items within 3 to 9 business days following dispatch. Please note that transit times are estimates provided by our logistics partners and may be subject to variation due to local carrier operations.

If a shipment significantly exceeds the standard delivery timeframe, Boardovia will initiate an inquiry with the relevant carrier. Upon completion of this investigation, we will determine the appropriate course of action, which may include a full refund or a replacement shipment, based on the specific circumstances of the delay or loss.

4. Transfer of Risk

In accordance with European consumer protection legislation, the risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with Boardovia until the items are delivered to the Customer. The risk of loss or damage to the goods is transferred to the Customer only at the moment when the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

Consumers residing in the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from a purchase agreement within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, the Customer must inform us of their decision to withdraw from the contract via email at wooden@boardovia.com. Items must be returned in their original condition. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise specified by local mandatory laws.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

We strive to ensure the quality of all items dispatched. If you receive an item that is defective or damaged upon arrival, you are entitled to a remedy.

In such instances, please contact our support team at wooden@boardovia.com within a reasonable timeframe after delivery. To facilitate the processing of your request, please provide photographic evidence of the damage or defect. Once the documentation is reviewed, Boardovia will arrange for a full refund or a replacement to be dispatched. In cases of confirmed damage, you are not required to return the damaged item to us.

7. Limitation of Liability

Boardovia provides goods for standard kitchen use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boardovia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the products. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the purchase of goods shall not exceed the price paid for the specific goods in question.

8. Changes to Terms

Boardovia reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this Site. Continued use of the Site and the placing of orders constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the European region where the Customer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the relevant European jurisdiction.
